((Haha, ah, yes, the answers to the questions people pestered my character with over the past week or so   Well, at least he answered most of them....kinda
I must make note that Runner is still unavailable for certain RPing at the moment. He is recovering from injuries in his dimension and I will inform you all when he is back >.> It’ll probably be in the next week

Ahem. SO. I understand that Deities are forbidden from having romantic relations but now that has me thinking. You have a father clearly, so if you exist as his son how exactly is that if there are no relationships in your world? How do you Deities come about? Are you like amoeba or something or are there times when relationships are acceptable like for the purpose of creating a successor or something? Do you know who your successor will be if it is not your son or something?

He considers this, tilting his head left and right for a moment to consider how he could answer this, “....Yes, I can see why this is something confusing to humans, who have this rather strange method of reproducing and having children and such.”

He shrugs, taking in a breath now, “Deities aren’t exactly born. We simply are created and come into being through methods and means I cannot quite discuss or describe to you at present. We are considered to have relations through blood. This means my father is only considered my father because he and I share the same bloodline. When I came into existence, a ritual was performed to ensure that my blood was a mirror to his. This is why we are considered related.”
He looks up, not overly impressed, “Due to me being a Time Deity, our lineage is meant to be kept pure, hence me having relations. This is not always the case with Deities, though. Faith does not have a mother or father, and was simply mentored by the previous Deity of Fates.”
Runner looks off to the side, “This is why we consider relations so important and rare amongst our kind.”
He then shuts his eyes, “In terms of the Deity of Time that shall come after me....well, though I have been threatened by the Heads for doing such, I will not allow for another of our bloodline to take my place. I will not have a son, and will rather train another capable Deity instead.”

((It explains why it bothers him so much that his Father was not ‘Dad-of-the-Year’, considering the fact that he was Lucky enough to have a relation.
Sorry his response is so long It was a looooong question XD Pfft, a little Runner amoeba, I like that))

Also, I know what kind of entries you don't like writing but now I must know; what kind of entries do you LIKE to write? What is the longest entry you've ever had to write?

He gives a scoff, “Hmm, well I like to write entries with happy endings, as clichéd as that sounds. Entries where no one dies tragically in the end, and that the persons involved lead happy, long lives, with no complications occurring in their timeline. I remember my father saying they were the most boring ones to write, but it certainly gives a break to the ones I am usually found writing.”
Runner shrugs, smiling, “Those entries are incredibly rare, unfortunately. But I cherish the ones I have thus far seen.”

Runner then considers the next question, “In terms of the longest entry I’ve ever written....it is hard to say. The scrolls do not give a clear indication on length, to be honest, considering how lengthy descriptions need to be for various events. I suppose the longest time I’ve spent on an entry was about....hmm, four months ((straight)), if I’m not mistaken. I was exhausted afterwards, though. Faith mentioned I slept for about three days...”

How much time do you spend in the world of mortals when you’re not writing entries?

“If I am not working on an entry, little to no time, to be honest. I have no need to. Not to mention I do not have time for such. I have meetings to get through, and two rather troublesome students to train,” he lets out.

((Non-canon, though, he spends quite a bit of time amongst us mortals, it seems.... ^_^))

If you did celebrate something, what would it be?

He looks rather confused by this, “By celebrate, what is it that you mean? Such as a holiday or some sort of event?”
Runner sighs, “I am uncertain. I have never really considered something like this, so I cannot answer this.”

Wait, if you had a father, then weren't you born instead of coming into existence? (Whatever the heck that means...)

Runner sighs, bothered, “Why are you humans so curious about my relations and existing?! Please refer to the question Bones asked for an answer to this.”

Do you celebrate your birthday? (Coming to existence day, whatever XD)

“No, I do not. We Deities do not celebrate such events, as there is no point in doing so. We are sure to record such a day for our Scroll Vaults to preserve our timelines, but we do not celebrate it or remind ourselves of it. I find it rather odd that humans in this realm do so.”

So do you travel in time change events to improve the future, or can you only travel in time to observe and record historical events?

He shrugs, “It truly does depend. In my Unseen state when writing entries, I can only but observes as events unfolded. However, in my Seen state, I am physically present in an event, disguised as a human who has little to no part to play in such an entry. I cannot influence it greatly, though. Meaning if someone is to die, it is not my choice to make. I am merely there to watch...”

((It is mentioned in the short stories and has been made mention of in Role Plays that the Unknown Powers – a force that works through the Deities – controls what events are to come. The Deities’ only purpose is to act as a tool through which they can work))

What's your favorite historical event in all of history?

Runner considers this, “Hmm. I do not have a particular event, per say, that I am fond of. I will admit, though, that I do enjoy the Ancient Egyptian era, if that helps anything.”

LAST ONE!! Can you time travel all the way back to the dinosaur ages and observe what the dinos did? That would be so cool!!!

He gives a rather bewildered expression at this. But then simply sighs, “Yes, I suppose I can. I have done so for a few Entries in the past. It is rather boring, though. Watching these scaly creatures roam around and eat plant life or one another.” -.-

Runner places his hands into his pockets, “It has to do with our physical make-up, the powers found within us, and our heritage, to a certain degree. We often can sense it in our auras. Someone cannot become a Deity, we are created to be one from the start...”

Runner shrugs lightly, “I manage. I find over my many years of existence, I have become adaptable to almost all situations. I have to be in order to complete my purpose...”

((HOWEVER, there are instances that still catch him by surprise, especially when he becomes overwhelmed – as he puts it – and depressed Then he start to flounder. He becomes closed off, and reacts badly when people show concern  –considers recent RPs – X_X))

What do you do to relax? 

He smiles lightly at this, looking down with a thoughtful expression, “I don’t have much time to relax. But when I do, I visit places that make me feel....happy...”

(( In the short stories, there is a Koi pond near the Dojo with lots of trees that Runner usually sits under and reads texts. In some of the RPs, there is a place x-Ask-Claude-x took him to that he described as a Paradise, where he actually smiled properly for the first time....

He also enjoys playing the piano secretly when he wishes to relax But most do not know of this....))

He considers this, soon smirking, “Hmmm... Aut Viam Inveniam Aut Faciam.”

((Which means I will either find a way or make one, a quote by Hannibal. Latin is Runner’s absolute favorite language, and so you will often find him quoting in it when given opportunity to do so.
In terms of this quote, he will often try and help people and do all he can, no matter what ))
